Course details
Gardens by the Bay, Singapores latest park that spans 101 hectares of reclaimed land adjacent to Marina Bay Reservoir, is an integral part of the citys long-term plan to transform itself from a Garden City to a City in a Garden. Consisting of three waterfront gardens, Bay South Garden, Bay East Garden, and Bay Central Garden, the project has set new standards for developments of its kind by featuring two large-scale conservatories, interconnected lake systems, 18 structures known as the Supertrees (vertical gardens that perform a multitude of functions including planting, shading and serving as environmental engines for the project), as well as various themed gardens that display thousands of plant species.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Gardens by the Bay case study including its sustainability design features of passive design and active design features used for energy efficiency, energy generation and water harvesting and treatment.
