Course Goal

Learn about the applications of the New Red Book of FIDIC (1999 Edition) with full explanation of the General Conditions section in the book. To familiarize attendees with the FIDIC Contract conditions for projects designed by the employer as described in the New Red Book of FIDIC.
Course Content

Overview on the history of the FIDIC Organization, and the following FIDIC publications: white, red, yellow, orange, new red, silver, and green books, the tender procedures, the joint venture and consortium agreement, sub-consultancy agreement and subcontracting agreement. A detailed explanation of the New FIDIC Red Book will then be presented:
