Join me, Mixed Media artist Danita Art, while I create a watercolor painting on paper with a beautiful message of personal growth, and learn some of my secrets as I show you step by step how to create a beautiful painting.
When i paint, every one of my paintings has a meaning, inspired by something that happened, something I felt, something I saw. When I read about this story, I felt compelled to create a painting, and share it with you. Watch the painting come to life, from simple pencil drawing to a beautiful eyed girl with the key to release herself from the golden cage of her beliefs.
This class will take you trough the steps I used to create a painting like it in one afternoon, from a plain drawing to a detailed girl with beautiful eyes.
All you need is to be familiar with watercolors and the following painting materials:
- Watercolor paints, in tube or pan.
- Watercolor paper or journal.
- Watercolor brushes.
- Regular pencil or mechanical pencil.
- White pencil.
- Eraser.
- Masking fluid.
- An old or cheap watercolor brush.
- Kosher salt.
- White pen.
- Water soluble crayons (Optional)
The class is perfect if you don't have the time to take a full fledged class with me, but wold like to peek into my creative process and learning about the techniques I use to create my starry night like watercolor backgrounds.
