COURSE OVERVIEW:
Fashion Styling Limerick
It was The City of Culture for 2014, LA College's second creative hub, the home of designers such as Joanne Hynes and Natalie B Coleman when they first embarked on their fashion design careers; yes we are talking about Limerick. Fashion forward and innovative Limerick was the perfect place to launch the first fashion styling course of its kind outside of Dublin.
With Creative Director Darren Kennedy at its helm, LA College of Creative Arts Regional Styling Course has, like our Dublin course, built its foundation on Darren's unprecedented knowledge and expertise along with his theoretical and hands on experience. As one of the most well respected stylists and TV personalities in Ireland and the UK Darren Kennedy’s career is flourishing and his involvement in the course will give students the opportunity to follow in his fashionable footsteps and work alongside some of the biggest players in the Irish fashion industry.
As part of the LA College of Creative Arts College Career Placement Programme, all students will be given the opportunity to apply for a coveted internships at Limerick's most respected boutiques and designers. This is an extremely practical and in-depth fashion styling course which was created with career requirements in mind and offers a realistic and honest insight into one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant industries.
Updated on 08 November, 2015About LA College of Creative Arts
The LA College of Creative Arts was founded in 2005 by Lorraine O’Neill. After travelling extensively across the world studying every element of the make-up and beauty industry, Lorraine returned home and spotted an immediate gap in the market for a college that offered a superior level of training in creative arts. Lorraine’s vision soon became a reality and since then she has worked tirelessly to offer the best of the best in international training.Originally focused solely on make-up artistry training, trading as LA Make-Up Academy, the college now offers a wide range of internationally accredited full and part-time courses in textile design, millinery, photography, fashion marketing, beauty therapy, brand management, fashion styling and hair-styling. These include introductory courses and workshops for beginners seeking to learn basic technique and application through to highly intensive degree options devised for those who wish to pursue a long lasting and successful career within their chosen discipline.
