The aim of the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing is to provide the practising marketer with relevant, contemporary content to equip them for the current global landscape. Successful completion of the CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing will establish the knowledge, skills and understanding to be able to perform at an operational level and to perform an essential and successful professional marketing role within the workplace.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the qualification participants will be able to:
- Recognise the function and fundamentals of marketing in some depth, identify factors and trends in the marketing environment and how they affect marketing planning.
- Know the elements of the marketing mix & apply and adapt the marketing mix to satisfy customer needs.

- Understand the importance of customer expectations, develop & deliver activities that enhance customer experience & monitor & measure customer experience

It is aimed at marketing assistants, coordinators, executives, marketing managers without formal marketing qualifications and non-marketers with aspirations for marketing
Entry Requirements
As a minimum, the following qualifications and experience is recommended as the prerequisite for entry onto the Certificate in Professional Marketing
- CIM level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing Qualification OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing
- Professional practice (suggested one-two years in a marketing role or in an entry level marketing position)
