The Art of Presenting CIPD

Details

The ability to give presentations and speeches that have influence and impact remains one of the most desirable of professional and personal credentials. We attach an almost mythical quality to those who, seemingly without effort, are able to captivate an audience, and yet public speaking remains a fearful activity for many people, whilst being a necessity for many of us, professionally and personally.

In a society that is becoming more and more reliant on technology, the need and desire to be part of rich, ‘LIVE’ communication becomes all the more crucial.

Few skills can increase self-confidence more, whilst simultaneously raising profile and credibility.

This two-day course encourages increased self-awareness. It is designed to provide participants with all the essential tools to help them conquer their fears, and the knowledge base to put them in control. They will develop an authentic presentation style, which allows freedom to flex that style in order to connect with others and create memorable messages. Participants will be filmed twice throughout the two days and will have the opportunity to see and view themselves in playback. They will give and receive specific, developmental feedback.
