Getting things done within an organizational requires more than being able to excel in work performance. It requires the ability to manage upward, to influence the decisions of senior management. It also requires the ability to manage laterally to obtain needed resources and cooperation from peers. And, in today’s tem-oriented work organizations, it also requires the ablility to manage multiple relationships at the same time within project teams and task groups. Those issues will be the primary focus of this course.
PROGRAMME OUTLINE
This workshop is geared to help participants:
- Positively navigate the politics that are a facet of everyday life in organizations through High-Touch personal influence skills.
- Work beyond the boundaries of their own direct reports and obtain the resources they need from other managers and departments to ensure their teams’ success.
- Effectively manage the dynamics of groups and inpidual contributors on committees, projects and teams using mindset framing techniques.
- Work more effectively with direct reports using the power of Neuro Linguistic techniques.
