Course details

How many times have you heard that certain people are just "born creative, and certain people "aren't. This course debunks this misconception by showing you that creativity is a process with clearly defined steps, that you can learn and apply towards ANY project. Using techniques taken from brain science to rocket science, you'll learn that everyone, including you, is born creative. If you think of yourself as creative already, this course will make you more efficient and productive with your creativity. If you think of yourself as one of the "not creative people, this class will show you that you ARE creative, and how to bring that creativity to fruition.

When you have completed the course you will realize that you are naturally creative and that creativity operates under certain principles which can be taught, you can learn, and you can practice in your everyday life.

You'll learn what you need to know about every step of the creative process, from coming up with an initial idea, unpacking and expanding upon it, to shaping and refining it. You will learn about the points along the way when creativity needs time to gestate, and you'll learn about recognizing when to stop to get your best, polished creative work.

You'll find out about the seven key principles of creativity principles that apply whether you are working by yourself or as part of a team. You will learn how to use your body to enhance creativity, and to recognize the hidden value in mistakes and frustrations.

You will learn about the common roadblocks to creativity, and the remedies to get you through these roadblocks if and when they occur, so you can move forward on your project.

You'll learn about the brain science of the unconscious, how it applies to creativity, and how to give your brain the right data it needs to figure out the problem or next course of action, even when you are not consciously working on it.

The course includes several case study examples of creative projects, from gestation, to the often hidden steps in between, in order to understand the growth of a creative work from beginning to end.

You'll understand and use techniques you can learn to encourage creativity, and ways to make real progress, even if you aren't feeling particularly creative, that will move you forward as long as you work the program.

You'll also learn why we all desire to be more creative, and why the world needs to hear what you have to say, no matter what your creative medium.

And much much more!!!
