The art of cinematic storytelling is explained by professional filmmakers in this two-week, hands-on experience. Using state-of-the-art Sony HD cameras and the latest versions of industry standard editing software, every student completes two short film projects. Week One: Digital Filmmaking - Beginning -

Teens are immersed in a hands-on, project-based learning format that simulates a real-world movie production. They use Sony HD video cameras while experiencing all stages of movie production: planning, scripting, shooting and editing with Apple's Final Cut Pro X . Week Two: Digital Filmmaking - Advanced - Students go even deeper into filmmaking by discovering advanced shooting, lighting, and editing techniques. They add visual effects and motion graphics (along with professional audio) recording to their films.
