Course details
City & Guilds International Examinations take place in early June and December each year. Examinations are set and assessed externally by City and Guilds International. Success in the examination leads to a qualification after completion of each part.
Full Technological Certificate is obtained upon completion of the Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
Candidates obtain the following award: Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Theory - Technology

Plant Technology (2565-02-019)
- Steam generation, Steam power plant, Combustion of fuels, Instrumentation and control, Prime movers, Compressors; Air Conditioning, Pumps, Electrical supplies and Installation.
Plant Installation and Maintenance (2565-02-021)
- Maintenance procedures, installation and commissioning, Bearings and transmission, Lubrication and gaskets, Locating and driving screw fastening, welding and pipe joining.
- Please note that all modules are theory based and do not involve a practical assessment
