Technical support provides a connection between a customer and the IT professional of a business. This course provides an introduction to IT support and customer relations. This course is aimed and inpiduals who have in interest in technical support. No previous knowledge of technical support is needed for this course.
Programme Aims and Objectives
This course aims to provide the learner with an introduction to IT support. By the end of this module the learner will be able to:
- Assess the needs of customer through problem finding and diagnostics
- Support customers directly in person or over the phone
- Log all interactions and tasks in a task logging interface

- Phone based support help
- Basic operating system commands
- Fault finding and diagnostics with Windows based systems
- Windows applications and services
- User account issues
- Installing and removing software
