Course details
`TCM Assistant certificate program covers the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese medicine prescriptions knowledge, Chinese assistant knowledge and technology, health care methods, and clinic management and other subjects. Curriculum theory and practice so that students can master a variety of practical skills, and create conditions for future employment. Courses with a total of nine units. After passing score will be awarded a certificate of TCM Assistant.
The purpose of the course:
- TCM training professional assistant to help practitioners, acupuncturists and nursing home operations;
- To enhance the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine to provide related services to medicine clinics and pharmacies;
- Grasp care and massage skills to help patients relieve pain and discomfort;
- Master health diet method, self-care and disease prevention;
- Effective management clinic for patients to provide comprehensive and efficient service.
Admission: secondary education, love of medicine, can understand Chinese.
Received certificates: Certificates issued by TCM Assistant (Certificate in TCM Assistant) by the Singapore Medical College.

About Singapore College Of Traditional Chinese Medicine
The Singapore College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in 1953 as the Chinese Physician Training College (renamed in 1976) by the Singapore Chinese Physicians’ Association. Since then, the college has grown to be a well-established Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) institution in the region. These graduates are currently practicing TCM in various parts of Singapore, providing TCM treatment and healthcare to the public, contributing significantly to TCM development in the country.
