    Course details

    This course is aimed at students who wish to pursue a career in Engineering, Building Services Management, Industrial Design or Architecture related areas. Students will use the most relevant BIM (Building Information Modelling) software for these industries, including Revit.

    The course also aims to develop an understanding of Sustainable/Green Building Technology and Design, introduces Building Energy Rating (BER), the associated software (DEAP) and other related topics.

    The course provides people with the relevant skills and knowledge to allow them to adjust to a changing building industry.

    Entry Requirements

    • A relevant or related qualification in the construction area is desirable. Applicants will be considered on their merits.

    • Graduates from this course may gain employment related to renovation of existing buildings, production of 3D building models and drawings, production of project schedules.
    • Successful graduates of this course may qualify to undergo BER certification training.
