COURSE DESCRIPTION
In a thriving forward-looking company, visionary leadership is the responsibility of all in managerial and supervisory roles. This programme enables you to be an inspiring facilitator and motivator who can share your vision with others. You can deliver your vision to others easily through storytelling, whether it is a story of success or failure. In order for employees to be motivated through storytelling, three steps need to be taken: Tell the Story, Act the Story and Live the Story. Therefore this programme is structured into three modules in nine chapters:
Module 1: Tell the Story
Module 2: Act the Story
Module 3: Live the Story
CONTENTS
Module 1: Tell the Story
If you inspire your team members, it’s because the team shares the same vision with you. When you use storytelling to share a vision, be clear in what you want them to see. If uncertain, your story will be ineffective and the vision or theme you have will be lost.
Chapter 1: Theme to communicate vision, values and expectations to team members.
Chapter 2: Storyboard will help identify organisational values that support strategic priorities.
Chapter 3: Script writing of role model behaviours that demonstrate organisational values in the workplace.
