Course details
Supply chain transparency is an essential component of responsible supply chain management. It tangibly demonstrates to consumers that the suppliers and sub-contractors that the company engages with promote favorable human rights practices. With an increased focus on corporate social responsibility in this context, confronting exploitation in labor and supply chains has become a key issue for every company. This course builds awareness of how human trafficking may reveal itself in supply chains and equips sourcing managers with the skills to support the company's efforts to prevent and respond to trafficking activities. This course is designed for use in all US states as a training component of an organization's supply chain management program, such as is required under California's SB 657. This course was developed with subject matter support provided by Seyfarth Shaw at Work.
