Dr Fergus Heffernan will be facilitating the day. Dr. Fergus Heffernan, PhD, is a renowned psychologist and psychotherapist who is a leading educator in the area of stress management and how it relates to our mental health.
The following will be covered on the day:
- Understanding Stress and how it differs from Pressure
- Identifying the main physical, psychological and behavioural symptoms of Stress in self and others
- Develop a working understanding of modern models of Stress
- Developing a range of strategies and techniques to tackle Stress including Relaxation Skills, Lifestyle Management and Stress Mapping
- The importance of diet, exercise and lifestyle in the management of Stress
- Stress Management and your Physical Health
- Stress Management and your Mental Health
