Our Stock Control training course is designed to highlight the importance of managing stock & explain the techniques for controlling it as well as explaining the effects it can have on a company.
Who Should Attend?
- This course is for Managers, Supervisors and all staff with a direct and indirect responsibility for the control of stock within a company.
Course Objectives:
- At the end of this course you will be confident in:
- Ensuring you have stock to meet the demands of your company.
- The different formulas for controlling stock.
- Keeping stock holding costs to a minimum.
- Keeping accurate stock levels and carrying out correct stock takes.
Course Programme:
- Minimum/Maximum stock levels.
- Re-Order stock levels.
- FIFO/LIFO (First in First Out/ Last in First Out).
- Buffer stocks.
- Average cost.
- Rolling stock takes.
- Stock security.
Training Methods:
- Classroom based power-point presentation & interactive discussion.
- There will also be course hand-outs & group exercises.
