The subject provides an introduction to basic statistical concepts. Topics include descriptive statistics, probability distributions, estimation of population parameter, hypothesis testing, and linear regression.

The aims of this subject are to provide students with:
- Practical knowledge of statistical concepts and techniques to generate information for decision-making.
