Who Should Attend
This course has been specifically designed for aspiring technopreneurs and startup founders.
Format and Delivery
The Startup Bootcamp provides participants with an excellent opportunity to transform their ideas and dreams into an actionable business that can be funded by investors.
Participants will attend 3 Workshop sessions where they will learn how to use the Lean Canvas tool to develop innovative business models and products, learn how to go to market using a digital marketing mix, learn how to penetrate the market using the most effective distribution strategy, determine financial viability and scalability, and develop an "investor-ready" business plan. These Workshops will be held on Saturdays, and will be delivered by leading startup enthusiast and entrepreneur Anuj Jain.
In addition, participants will also attend 4 Thought Leadership and Networking sessions, where they will learn from at least 10 Startup founders, entrepreneurs and investors.These special guests will be sharing their experiences on agile leadership and management, start-up development and perspectives of investors in evaluating a suitable investment portfolio. Furthermore, throughout the duration of the Bootcamp, 6 mentors will be on hand to offer advice and guidance to all participants.
Finally, participants who take part in the Bootcamp will be granted access to 4 specially arranged Networking Events, and will have an opportunity to meet over 100 investors, startups and VCs, providing an invaluable opportunity to connect with inpiduals in the Singapore startup ecosystem. At the final session of the Bootcamp, participants will be tasked with making a 10-minute pitch to a panel of investors. The panel will provide feedback on each pitch, giving participants valuable insight in their venture creation and which may ultimately help participants to successful receive investment.

Module Topics
Develop an Innovative Business Model Using Lean Canvas
Participants will gain an understanding of the lean start-up methodology, the rationale behind the framework, and will develop business models comprising the following elements: (1) identify a market problem and develop a value proposition to meet the demands of targeted market segments, (2) develop an optimal solution to meet customer requirements, identify elements of the solution that cannot be easily copied by the competition, and create persified revenue streams, and (3) determine the cost structure, establish key performance metrics, and develop channels to reach customers.

Digital Marketing & Distribution Channel Development
This session will provide participants with the necessary practical skills to create an effective digital marketing campaign through growth hacking strategies for products and/or services offered by start-up companies. Participants will also learn how to bring products to market more efficiently and effectively using lean marketing methods and how to leverage on offline channels.

Business Viability & Scalability
This session will help students develop their basic skills in financial planning suitable for start-ups. In particular, the session focuses on identifying financing needs for the short, medium, and long terms; predicting revenues and expenses; and producing a cash-flow forecast to present to potential investors.

Assessment
Assessment comprises of two parts:
- Each participant will need to prepare a Business plan written report (15 pages) that they have to submit after completing the thought leadership session, 3 days before the pitching session.
- Each participant will need to conduct a 10-minute presentation of the business plan to a panel of investors who will provide feedback for 5 minutes.
Certificates Issued
Successful graduates of the Bootcamp will receive:
- 2 Statement of Attainment (SOA) by WDA Singapore
