The SSCP, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner, is a certification for cybersecurity practitioners tasked with monitoring information systems and reacting to security incidents.
A system security certified professional (SSCP) is a vendor-neutral beginner certification that evaluates, tests and certifies an individuals abilities in implementing and managing information security. It is developed, maintained and monitored by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium ((ISC)2) for entry-level candidates seeking a career or skills in information security.
The Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) is the ideal certification for those with proven technical skills and practical, hands-on security knowledge in operational IT roles. It provides confirmation of a practitioners ability to implement, monitor and administer IT infrastructure in accordance with information security policies and procedures that ensure data confidentiality, integrity and availability.
