This sports science, coaching & fitness course is a full time comprehensive sports course designed to prepare students for a career in the leisure industry or to provide a pathway to further study.The course covers aspects of Sports Science which covers the scientific aspects of sport and exercise on human performance, endurance and capability. It is also an ideal course for those wishing to pursue a career in a professional coaching as it will equip the learner with the knowledge and practical skills to bring out the best in any athlete. The increased public interest in health and fitness has led to a growing demand for the people with the technical and practical skills necessary to give specialised advice and training to those looking to continually improve their performance. - Entry is by direct application to the college. Acceptance to full time courses are interview based.
