The course content will include:
- Origin, Insertion and Action the muscles
- How Muscles change during exercise
- The effects of Stress on muscles during sport
- The stresses and strains put on the spine and other joints
- Principles of injury prevention and management
- Thermotherapy and Cryotherapy
- Contraindications to Sports Massage
- Specific Sports Massage techniques
- Treatment of common sports injuries
- Case Studies
