About Gold's Gym Academy

In 1997, Visual Reality - a U.S. based company - obtained the master franchise rights for Gold’s Gym in Egypt, and launched Gold’s Gym Egypt, a company operating under the umbrella of Gold’s Gym International. The head office of Gold’s Gym Egypt is located in Maadi.

The first location of Gold’s Gym Egypt was established in 1997, and is situated in Maadi.

The year 2000 marked the next step in the development, when Gold’s Gym Egypt opened its second location – the Nile Gym in Giza.

Its status as the first international franchise brand in the fitness market in Egypt provided Gold’s Gym Egypt the opportunity to swiftly surpass all its competitors. Due to the dedication and passion of its management, and staff, Gold’s Gym Egypt excels in its ambitious expansion plans. At present, 13 locations are operating under the Gold’s Gym logo – 3 owned by Gold’s Gym Egypt, 8 as sub-franchisees, and 3 under a management contract.

Another 3 locations are currently in the preparatory phase, and by 2014 the groundwork for an additional 3 locations will be laid.

Gold’s Gym Egypt aims to serve the Upper Class, and prides itself in obtaining the highest standards, plus providing the most-efficient layout and top-notch equipment at its workout areas.

Besides the aim to stay #1 in Egypt’s fitness market, Gold’s Gym Egypt’s main objectives are to educate the society about the importance of fitness in order to enhance the concept of health and fitness within Egypt.
