- Evacuation procedures and the control of personnel

- Basic duties of the fire marshal/warden
- The fire Triangle
- Heat transfer
- Common sources of fire
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire exits, emergency exit routes, signs
- Emergency lighting & fire alarms
- Evacuation procedures
- Practical extinguisher discharges
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for individuals who have been designated as a fire marshal or fire warden and have specific duties towards fire prevention and evacuation.
PRE-COURSE PREPARATION
Wherever possible Live-Fire practical fire extinguisher demonstrations will be carried out outside following a suitable risk assessment therefore delegates are advised to bring suitable outdoor clothing and footwear.
CERTIFICATION
Delegates successully completeing the course including carrying out practical techniques will receive a certificate of attendance.
