Poppyhill School of Recording has been in operation for over 20 years. From what started out as a small venture fueled by a passion for music and it's associated technologies, Poppyhill School of Recording has become one of the leading lights in Sound and Music Technology education. Since opening it's doors way back in 1991 the school has educated many of the best sound engineers and music producers in Ireland and beyond. their reputation has spread worldwide and they have enrolled students from right around the globe. they're not a big college offering a hundred different ctheirses. they're not a "jack of all trades, master of none" or a" take ytheir money and run" organisation! they're professionals in this area and have been for a long time so they do what they do and they do it extremely theyll!

Mission Statement

At Poppyhill of Recording they aim to provide training of the highest quality to all their students. Through their training and support their aim is to nurture their students natural abilities and creative talents, and to optimise their potential for a fulfilling and successful future in their chosen career path. they see their ctheirses and qualifications as providing either a direct route into the workplace or a stepping stone into higher education. they accept that not everyone is cut out for an academic mode of learning and therefore they do not place previous academic achievement as a requirement for entry to their ctheirses. Instead they look for enthusiasm and an aptitute for the subject area. In general their wish is that all students who attend their school will benefit not only from an excellent education but also from an atmosphere of friendliness, optimism and mutual respect.
