This one year full-time course is designed to instruct learners in every aspect of Sound Recording and Music Technology. “Hands on” experience coupled with tuition from industry professionals provides learners with not only the technical competency, but also the interpersonal skills essential to securing a position in the competitive music industry. This course places a heavy emphasis on learners gaining practical skills in the operation of analogue and digital mixing consoles, studio equipment, microphone techniques, music software, samplers, synthesizers, music recording and production techniques. For those new to the subject matter or for those out of education for a few years the City & Guilds cert in Sound Recording offers the perfect starting point for a career in music.
