Students study towards the internationally-recognised Cambridge English Language Assessments and the Cambridge International Certificate in IT Skills (validated by University of Cambridge International Examinations, CIE).
What will I learn?
First Year
Foundation Studies in English and Information Technology. Students study towards the internationally-recognised Cambridge English Language Assessments and the Cambridge International Certificate in IT Skills (validated by University of Cambridge International Examinations, CIE).
Second Year
In year two, students undertake a general level 3 (EFQ) programme in information technology that prepares them for a variety of roles in the industry. Students study mandatory units including programming, web technologies, databases and the management of software development and maintenance in organisations.
Third Year
In year 3 students have the opportunity to develop further their technical skills and they can further specialise in either general software development (applications) or web development. There are core modules in programming methods, designing user interfaces and systems documentation with a range of optional units for the different pathways.

The programme provides students with an introduction to the methods and technologies used in the development of software services used in modern business.
