This new full-time course is designed for students looking for a career as a software developer with the emphasis on programming using high level languages. Career opportunities for software developers include developing mobile apps, websites and computer games. The units studied include; object orientated programming, software architecture, event driven programming and we development Successful graduates may apply via the CAO or through the higher education links scheme onto an undergraduate degree programme in a range of third level institutions.
