Course details

This Level 5 Certificate course offers a broad introduction to the area of Social Studies. it is designed for people who are interested in working in a variety of social care services. Learners can develop the personal qualities, knowledge, skills and academic background required to progress in the social work/care sector.

Learners who successfully complete a QQI Level 5 Certificate may be able to use their results to progress to related Level 7 and Level 8 Degree Programmes in Irish Universities and Institutes of Technology. Third level progression opportunities for QQI learners are continually being developed and enhanced.
