Course details

Digital Marketing is one of the areas where the rising demand for skilled staff consistently exceeds supply. There is an increasing recognition of the importance of online strategies in distribution, reaching targeted consumers, and building interactive relationships with customers. This course will equip students with Internet and second generation webtool skills and knowledge. Students will learn how to develop an integrated marketing approach, using both traditional and online techniques, to successfully market a business.

Course Requirements

Leaving Cert/Leaving Cert Applied or its equivalent. For mature students, work experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Suitability for this course will be assessed at interview

Progression

Graduates who achieve the required standard may progress to further studies in IT Colleges through the Higher Education Links Scheme. Examples of progression options include DIT’s Higher Certificate in Marketing (DT303), IT Tallaght’s BBus (Hons) Marketing (TA123) and BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing Communications (TA023).
