Course details
This programme is designed to provide students with the critical knowledge and skills needed in a food and beverage (F&B) outlet. Students will learn the fundamentals in F&B service, F&B operations and supervisory skills.
Mode of Study
Full time
On an average, the teacher-to-student ratio is 1:40 for theory lessons and 1:20 for practical lessons.

Entry Requirements
Singaporeans and PRs
- Minimum 2 GCE ‘N’ Level including English*
- Successful interview
- Minimum age of 16 years old
Admission Interview
The interview component allows us to assess students’ suitability as an applicant against our education philosophy as well as the industry. It is also a good opportunity for students to speak to our trainers, share their concerns and gain insights into challenges of the industry
Assessment Framework
Theory, practical examinations, practical exercises, presentations, written assignments, projects, class participation & performance during industrial attachment.
Certification
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Food and Beverage Supervision by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency.

About Shatec Institutes
