This qualification is intended for candidates who are working in a position that requires a demonstrable standard of the ability to transcribe documents from printed or handwritten copy. This also covers the correct ways of producing and presenting communications in a business context.
Aims of the Qualification
The aims of this qualification are to enable candidates to develop:
- proficiency in transcribing a range of complex business documents from printed and handwritten copy using a computer or word processor
- competence in producing business documents to a mailable business standard
- competence in using appropriate presentation tools within text production
