Course details
The course is specially designed to also prepare students for the LCCI examinations for Level 3 Accounting, Cost Accounting and Management Accounting. Upon passing the aforementioned papers, students will also be awarded an LCCI Diploma in Accounting, which is one of the most recognised and valued accounting diplomas, not just in Singapore but all over the world. Therefore, students enrolled in this course are in fact doing two very prestigious diplomas at one go, enjoying the best of both worlds.
Aims of the Qualification
- To develop knowledge and understanding of the business environment and the influence this has on how organizations and accountants operate, and of the role of the accountant and other key business functions in contributing to an efficient, effective and ethical organization, and to build knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of effective management.
- To develop knowledge and understanding of how to prepare and process basic cost and quantitative information to support management in planning and decision-making in a variety of business contexts.
- To develop knowledge and understanding of the underlying principles, concepts and regulations relating to financial accounting and technical proficiency in the use of double-entry accounting techniques.
