The Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) Higher Certificate in Aerospace Maintenance (Aircraft Maintenance - Mechanical) course is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge to perform the role of Aircraft Maintenance Technician as well as Workshop Maintenance Technician.

Who Should Attend

• New hire who have just joined a mechanical maintenance workshop or hangar.
• Technicians who are currently working in a mechanical workshop or hangar.

Certification

Upon successful completion of this unit, learners will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment (SOA).

A WSQ Higher Certificate in Aerospace Maintenance (Aircraft Maintenance - Mechanical) will be issued by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency upon successful completion of all 4 required units.

• AR-CCU-201C-1; Perform Basic Aircraft Safety Practices & Documentation (Industry Core)
• AR-CCU-201G-1; Perform Aircraft General Maintenance Activities (Sector Core)
• AR-AMM-201E-1; Maintain Airframe Systems (Specialisation Elective)
• AR-AMM-202E-1; Maintain Aircraft Fuel & Engine Systems(Specialisation Elective)

Minimum Entry Requirements

• Age: 15 years old
• Academic Level: WSQ Employability Skills WPLN Proficiency Level 4 equivalent to Lower Secondary
• Language Proficiency: WSQ Employability Skills WPLN Proficiency Level 4 equivalent to Lower Secondary
