Course details
The aim of this course is to equip students with the basic knowledge in electron theory, static electricity, electrical terminologies, basic electrical components, magnetism, electricity generation, motors, transformers and filters. Students are also provided with the basic analytical skills to solve electrical problems.
Objectives
This course provides the students with broad-based knowledge in electrical theories so that they will have a good grasp of the fundamentals of electricity. Topics covered include electron theory, voltage and current sources, different circuit concepts, components, devices and also electrical machines.
