Increase in passenger traffic, coupled with the recent rise in communicable diseases such as pandemic flu, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome and more recently Ebola, have directly impacted national economies, raise health care costs and affect the operations of airports and airport regulators globally.
OBJECTIVES
This course provides participants with a better understanding of key considerations for a public health emergency plan and equips them with the know-how to develop a set of business continuity standards and guidelines to address specific issues. Participants will also learn about the business continuity plans from regulators, airports and airlines to gain broader perspectives on the best practices from the various sectors of the industry.
