Course details
This course covers the essential elements of the main aviation insurance policies: Aviation Hull and Liability and Aviation Hull War and Terrorism. The policy wordings, underwriting considerations, risk management considerations, claims investigation, handling and settlement process in aviation insurance and interpretation of aviation insurance contracts in the international courts will be highlighted.
These lectures will be supplemented by industry sharing on the '101 of Aviation Business' which includes: overview of the different types of aircraft and their respective risk characteristics and the operational risks involved.
