This Diploma has 6 Mandatory units. It aims to provide you with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry and knowledge of the underlying principles involved.

16 years old and above with 10 years Education or equivalent qualification
Course Learning Outcomes
ROOM DIVISION SYSTEMS
This Module introduce the provision of residential accommodation to both the general public and those with specific needs.The day to day upkeep of residential facilities is discussed and the administrative and operational systems of running such establishment is dealt in detail.
MANAGEMENT OF FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS
This module introduce students to have the opportunity to demonstrate managerial skills in order to ensure the execution a successful function. They will demonstrate the need for effective control procedures and nderstand industry requirements with regard to manage safety and effectively complying with all relevant legislation.
CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT IN HOSPITALITY,TRAVEL AND TOURISM
This module introduce students to develop an understanding of customer ‘s needs and expectation as well as factors influence their choice of products and services in the hospitality,leisure,travel and tourism sector.
INTERNATIONAL MARKETING
This module integrates and build on the marketing modules and complements the international strategic perspective characteristic of the programme. It aim to promote understanding and knowledge in relation to the major forces affecting current and future international marketing practices.
PRINCIPLES OF FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT
The aim of this unit is to able learners to gain understanding of how food business operators can ensure compliance with food safety legislation, the operation requirements and controls needed to ensure food safety, and how to establish and maintain food safety management procedures.
RESEARCH PROJECT
Formulate a related research question via a) a review of the related academic literature b) a critical review of the activities & operations of the organisation/business sector and the environment within which it operates.

English Requirement
- Have achieved the equivalent of IELTS 5.0
- Or have passed the English Subject of their secondary school education ( for india, Malaysia and Philippines )
- Or have taken English Placement test and scored within the required banding
- Or have completed our certificate in English Language Profiency-intermediate course
Mode of Delivery
All classes Conducted are delivered via lectures and tutorials. Group discussion, class presentation and field trips are planned into the curriculum to enhance the learning experience
