COURSE OVERVIEWOur training programs adhere to the most up to date medical and educational guidelines published by nationally recognised authorities. They also meet the OSHA training requirement for workplace responders. “Sudden cardiac arrest is one of the known leading causes of death in occupational settings. In today’s context, AED’s are found onboard planes, cruise ships, hotels, factories and many work places. AED is a “must have” according to a standard HSE regulations. As we are using the First Aid International training program to teach, we would like you to know that the primary source authorities for the programs are:
- National Resuscitation Council Singapore
- National First Aid Council Guideline
- The course syllabus is recognized by National First Aid Council and National Resuscitation Council Singapore (NRC)
- To equip the participant with proper skills for the provision of initial care of injury or illness in different environments, such as public, home, and school.
- It is to equip the participants with proper life-saving techniques, such as One Man CPR of an adult, intervention of foreign body airway obstruction, others first aid skills & techniques include basic bandaging & bleeding management.

- Perform Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) appropriately
This course is suitable for anyone who wish to learn on the Standard First Aid (SFA), performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and using of Automated External Defibrillation (AED).
PRE-REQUISITE
- Physically Fit (Note: Pregnant ladies are not encouraged to attend this training)
- Able to read, speak and understand simple English
100% course attendance is required to sit for the assessment.
Module 1 – Theory Assessment: 20 Multiple Choice Question (80% to pass), Practical Assessment: 1 topic
