To equip beauty therapists with knowledge and application skills to provide Face and Body Waxing in the workplace
COURSE CONTENT
- Carrying out pre-treatment activities - personal hygiene & grooming, set up facilities for waxing, workplace safety & health
- Consult with client - review client profile, check contraindication to waxing, carry out visual assessment, discuss treatment plan.
- Perform waxing on facial area(s) - prepare for treatment, carry out waxing on facial area, maintain comfort and safety,
- Perform waxing on body area(s) - prepare for treatment, carry out waxing on body areas, maintain comfort and safety.
- Carrying out post treatment activities - obtain client feedback, provide aftercare advice, reinstate work area.
Requirement
PSLE, ESS WPLN L3 English/Chinese or equivalent
Award Criteria
Trainees must pass the Final Assessment as Competent.
