Production management techniques of yesterday are being replaced by more efficient methods that greatly improves productivity, minimize delays, reduce costs, and improve quality in maximum value to customers. Through Lean manufacturing, a culture is created in which everyone in the organisation continuously improves processes and production.
This Lean Consultancy and Training for Productivity Package includes 6 days training for an individual in the organisation who will be the change leader and 10 days consultancy provided by TaF.tc. The desired outcome is a reduction of lead-time, increase in production output/ revenue, reduction of quality defects, etc. resulting in at least a minimum of 6% increase in productivity.
OBJECTIVES

- Establish opportunites for improvement that engage human system in problem solving techniques as relate to roadblock of continuous flow and designing and implementing continuous flow to achieve defined performance driver, objectives and KPI.
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Company has to be a Singapore registered company. The package is only entitled to one per company.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Participant will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) provided he/she meets the following requirements:
- 75% attendance rate
- Assessed to be competent in given competency standard
CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.

KEY LEARNING AREAS
Apply Lean Manufacturing Concept and Identify Waste through Value Stream Mapping and Process Razing.
- Identify reasons and root cause behind the low productivity.
- Draw the Value Stream map – current and future state according to organisational performance.
- Evaluate process and retention time and its effect on productivity
- Apply lean tools into production to identify opportunities for improvements on conventional line systems according to organisational requirements.
- Apply value streaming, operations scanning and process razing to eliminate the non value added activities according to organisational performance.
- Engage problem solving techniques as relate to roadblock of continuous flow. according to organisational requirements
- Standardize all activities to maximum stability in according to organisational performance.
- Designing and implementing continuous flow to achieve in organisational performance.
- Define performance driver, objectives and KPI.
- Evaluate the results after implementing work improvements events.
- Review and follow up action plans against deviated objective/KPI.
