Demand for greater social and environmental responsibility is driving key global brands to implement sustainability strategies in their business including supply chain and store operations. In line with the new approach, global brands are now asking suppliers to establish “green factories” to reduce carbon footprint and conserve natural resources in addition to improving working conditions in the supply chain.
Rising concerns for the environment have also created a growing market for sustainable fashion products such as clothing made from organic cotton, green fibers and recycled material. Increasingly, competitive edge in the international and local retail business will depend on a company’s ability to reduce social and environmental impact of their supply chain and stores operations, and develop sustainable fashion products.
This course provides occupational knowledge and skills required to develop and grow sustainable fashion business for global and local brands more competitively.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Possess at least 3 GCE “O” level passes including English and Mathematics or ES WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) level 5 and above.
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Participant will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) provided he/she meets the following requirements:
- 75% attendance rate
- Assessed to be competent in given competency standard
CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
