Course details
his training provides skills in creating a full range of footwear collection. Participants will learn how to get inspiration and interpret current fashion trends to be able to conceptualize a desired footwear collection. They will go through the entire process of creating a collection from creating mood boards, sketching, colour, material, accessories selection and creation of technical package.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify different stages required in footwear trend process and market research according to industry norms
- Analyze consumer’s needs, directional trends and target market’s lifestyle and mindset changes according to industry or organizational practices, policies and procedures
- Develop footwear collection based on forecasted trends/ runway and/or researched target market
- Create design boards and footwear sketches based on forecasted trends and/or on researched target market
- Develop footwear technical package
ENTRY REQUIREMENT
Preferably possess 3 GCE ‘O’ level qualification with passes in English and Math or ESS WSQ Workplace Literacy and Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 and above.
Be able to manage basic computer skills
GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Participant will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA) provided he/she meets the following requirements:
- 75% attendance rate
- Assessed to be competent in given competency standard
CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE
Upon succcessful completion of the course, trainee will be awarded the WSQ Statement of Attainment (SOA). WSQ Certification is nationally endorsed and recognised by industry partners.
