Upon completion of this unit, learners will have the knowledge and application skills in identifying, comparing and evaluating external service providers and optimizing use of their services, as well as maintaining relationship with providers.
Course Outline
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify potential service providers in accordance with organisational procedures
- understanding objectives/business needs of organisation
- financial & non-financial areas, costs/benefits overview
2.Compare and evaluate external service providers to determine if they meet business needs of the organisation
- process, criteria and challenges in evaluation process
- legal, regulatory, ethical & socio-cultural constraints
3.Present recommendations on appropriate external service providers to management
4.Optimise utilization(Best Sourcing)of providers’ services to maximize value to achieve organisational objectives and business needs
5.Maintain working relationship with external service providers to ensure successful executive of engaged services.
