COURSE CONTENT
Be able to provide Holistic Massage according to ITEC certification.
Covers:
Anatomy and Physiology
- To understand and explain the functions of the functional systems and recognize the symptoms. Causes and effects of diseases and disorders of the functional systems.
- The functional systems covered are: skeletal, muscular, skin, cell, circulatory & lymphatic, neurological, endocrine, respiratory, digestive, urinary, reproductive.
Holistic Massage
- Understand methods of consultation, common ailments and contraindications to massage.
- Demonstrated the classical massage movements.
- Hygiene and first aid.
Requirement
N/O level or Passed relevant certificates
Award Criteria
Trainees must pass Case Studies, Theory and Practical Assessment
