Food is regarded as a harmonising agent. It is considered as medicine in 'small doses' whilst medicine is regarded as 'food' in a more concentrated form. This course is suitable for complementary health practitioners adn related industries to enhance their knowledge of Chinese Medicine.
COURSE CONTENT
The Basis of TCM Nutrition and Dietetics
- application of therapeutic food in complementary health
- common herbs and its combination with food
- knowledge of Chinese medicine and selection of herbs
Preparation of medicinal cuisines and drinks in Chinese Medicine
Apply knowledge of the nutrition of the herbs and food combination in medicinal cuisines and drinks for various medical applications -endemic recuperation
Provide medicinal cuisines and drinks at the workplace
