Course details

Participants need to have basic knowledge on Photoshop before enrolling for this course. Experience on CS6 is preferred.

Participants are taken on a journey of professional touch-up of pictures, applying advanced filters to create the atmosphere in the picture and creating simple animations. Emphasis is put to produce various effects, textures and picture composites for different layers of a picture, to combine creativity and the power of the tool.

You will completely enjoy the journey in this easy going course, where we take you by hand to show how this tool can be exploited to produce cool stuff.

• Learn & explore Photoshop’s various filter effects.

Soft Fade / Vignette Effect

• Learn to use the Elliptical Marquee
• Editing the Image in a Quick Mask Mode
• Using the Gaussian Blur Filter effect

Photo on Glass Effect

• Learn more about layer masks
• Learn to enhance the image using layer styles *Use the “Blend If” filters to highlight reflections on glass

Text Effects

• Light Burst Effect
• Adding a watermark / watermark pattern to your image
• Transparent Text (See through text) Effect

Photo Retouching Techniques

• Learn to use the clone stamp, healing brush & spot healing brush tool to remove blemishes on photos and have a clear and smooth skin texture in photos
• Use the Red-Eye-Removal tool to rid your pictures off hideous “Red-Eyes”

Hollywood Movie Poster

• Learn to work with layer masks
• Add gradients to blend two or more pictures together
• Use the noise filter to add a poster like texture to the image
• Learn about Adjustment Layers to change Hue / Saturation & Colorization of the image.
