Crisis management deals with the reality of a crisis while crisis communications deals with the perception of reality. Your organisation may manage a crisis well but if you fail to communicate effectively with your stakeholders, you still risk tarnishing its reputation. Your biggest challenge in a crisis is reacting with the right response quickly.
Through case studies and role-play, you will:
- Anticipate your communication needs during a crisis
- Prepare a crisis communication plan
- Develop messages to be put across
- Deal with the media during a crisis
