Course details
To help participants develop the skills, practice and knowledge of managing materials as an effective means of manufacturing and controlling the business operation. To prepare participants for the Diploma in Supply Chain Management (DSCM).
Who Should Attend
This program is meant for both manufacturing and business operations/personnel such as Materials Manager, Executives, Purchasers, Senior Administrator, Production and Materials Personnel, Planners, Warehouse Personnel, Inventory Controllers and those who need an overall understanding on the management of materials cycle with emphasis on purchasing as the primary materials activity.
Entry Requirement
Participants should possess 3 GCE ‘O’ levels or equivalent qualification. Those who do not meet the entry requirement maybe considered on a case by case basis.
Award of Certificate
To achieve the award of certificate in Materials & purchasing Management, candidates must pass the final examination with a total score of 50 or higher, and attend at least 75% of the sessions.
