Course details
This unit covers the outcomes required to manage the use of analytics and develop data strategies. This includes establishing data strategies in relation to business objectives/ Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and goals; managing the research and analytic processes; suggesting modifications and improvements based on user feedback and analytics; measuring and evaluating components of data strategy; measuring effectiveness of data strategy; and creating executive reports to capture relevant analytics.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Identify and assess business objectives/KPI and goals and establish data strategies including permission framework
- Manage the research to collect relevant data for analytic processes
- Evaluate user feedback and analytics to modify and improve data strategies
- Measure and evaluate components of data strategy to produce an executive summary
- Measure return on investment based on data strategy (if applicable)
- Create executive reports to capture relevant analytics for use in budgeting decisions
